Extend the life of your log cabin

You can prevent excessive warping of the wood by treating your log cabin or garden house with a protective coating which allows the passage of moisture. We advise an exterior grade of stain. This stain is available in various transparent and opaque colours. To prevent warping, we advise that both the outside and the inside of the log cabin should be treated.

44mm log cabin, available in various sizes. The log cabin has a porch to extend your living space in both sunny and rainy conditions. The double door (174x138cm) and window (93x83cm) have acrylic glazing. Stable corner joints thanks to the 4 Plus Profil. Wall beams have a double tongue and groove.
Roof boards 16mm with tongue and groove. Floor is made of 19mm untreated pine planks with tongue and groove and pressure impregnated floor joists.
Includes roofing felt, roof anchoring set, hinges and locks, and clear assembly instructions.

Building Service

Do you prefer to have someone else handling the construction? Then you can let a professional construction team construct the log cabin or garden building. Ask your dealer to put you in touch with a recommended builder. All buildings should be built on a firm flat base.

Wood “lives”. As a natural product wood can show tiny cracks and warping under the influence of weather conditions. This is normal and part of a natural product.
It even gives your cabin a natural “look”. Precisely because we are convinced of the quality of our log cabins and Garden buildings we give you a five-year guarantee on construction and material defects. Because we believe that you should be able to enjoy your cabin without worries at all times.

4 Plus Profile

Of course, the step by step construction method is tested rigorously and frequently. Our 4 Profil Plus concept provides very stable corner connections and consists of carefully milled and perfectly fitted wall beams. All corner connections are very well sealed and strong so you will not have to deal with dried wood. There are no sharp angles or joints making the walls very easy to paint. Also the beautiful design of the professionally finished corner joints faces is quite eye-catching.


	To create a nice terrace you can also order a symmetrical terrace balustrade with 200 cm depth (TS20). The veranda / terrace balustrade is standard delivered without floor.


	An extension as a storage space is available in a depth of 200 and 250 cm for the left or right side of your garden building. The extensions are standard deliverd with a wooden floor, roofing felt and a wooden door with lock.


	Always a lovely feature: A window flower box. The flower boxes – complete with inner plastic box lining – are fixed under the window and are available in three widths: 70 cm for narrow windows, 90 cm for standard (single) windows and 130 cm for wide (double) windows.


	In some types of cabins you can add (ornamental) shutters. For the standard single window type, FOH, and the double swinging type, FO2, only ornamental shutters are available: window shutter type 90L6-FOH-130L7 and FO2. For log cabins with narrow windows, opening inwards, functional window shutter sets 70L7 are available.


	Our Garden buildings are usually supplied with a standard roofing of black/gray roofing felt. If you want to have a more beautiful roof with a longer life expectancy, then choose shingles. You can order shingles for the roof additionally. In this case use the felt as a base on which to lay the shingles. Shingles are available in brown, black, red and green.


	Rainwater drainage no longer poses a problem with a gutter set consisting of gutters, downpipes and fixings. The set contains material for a gutter and downpipe on both sides of your log cabin. With flat roof models the gutter appears at the rear of the cabin.
