Outdoor Life Group Nederland Gouderak B.V. (hereinafter: OLG) is a leading company in the design, manufacture and distribution of timber garden products and greenhouses for retail partners in the Benelux. Its customers include DIY retailers, garden centres, chains specialising in gardening and pets, independent traders and online retailers.

OLG is a seasonal business. In spring and early summer, the site is at its busiest. Every day, dozens of lorries leave the site carrying goods to our customers’ shops and to consumers’ homes. However, product development and a focus on consumers and market trends continue throughout the year. OLG is a compact and hands-on company with ambitious growth targets.

Are you analytically strong, meticulous, quick to identify patterns in data, and keen to join (external) working groups such as GS1? Do you have at least a higher professional education (HBO) background, either through study or experience, in, for example, (technical) business administration, and are you looking for a role in which you can make a difference as an expert in data quality and the optimisation of data processes? As this is a new role within the organisation, we are looking for an inquisitive individual with the drive to optimise processes and work with your colleagues to improve them. You are ready for the next step in your career – the second or third – and are healthily ambitious, with at least a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking. You have strong analytical skills, enjoy working in a structured way and bring a healthy dose of energy to the role!

You’re a strong communicator and have a good command of both spoken and written Dutch and English. You have a proactive attitude and enjoy working with colleagues to tackle areas for improvement in the field of data.

The Master Data Team consists of a team lead and two colleagues who support several operating companies within the holding company. You will be the first point of contact for colleagues in Gouderak and, together with the team, will ensure that our data is always accurate and up to date.

As the Master Data Specialist at our Gouderak site, you will be the linchpin when it comes to managing and optimising product data. You will ensure that our product data and product documentation are complete, accurate and up to date in systems such as the ERP (SAP) and PIM (including DAM). You will not only be responsible for internal product information, but also for working with the internal sales team to supply data to external data pools such as GS1 and customer portals.

Your duties will include, amongst other things:

• Managing, checking and optimising product data in ERP and PIM (including DAM);
• Communicating with colleagues and customers regarding product information;
• Participating in (GS1) working groups to keep up to date with data standards and data processing techniques such as AI;
• Identifying data quality issues and implementing improvements;
• Optimising and improving all internal and external product information processes.
